Mid-Continent Region - The Mid-Continent Region covers a diverse range of fields from the Rocky Mountains,
to the plains of Kansas and Oklahoma, to the Ozarks of Arkansas. XTO began operations in this region in the Anadarko Basin in 1986. Expansion into the Fontenelle Area in 1996 and then, the Arkoma Basin in 1999 brought long-lived production with a rich opportunity base for new drilling. Recently, XTO has engaged in CBM drilling in the Powder River Basin. Further, the evolving Fayetteville and Woodford Shale plays offers the Company extensive upsides for development. Net production for the region averaged 204 MMCFPD and 3,734 BOPD during 2Q.
