Business Analyst
DUTIES: Work as part of a team to provide support to clients using Peloton software (WellView, SiteView, RigView). Assist with trouble shooting applications issues and testing of new releases. Work with end users to define document and implement business functional requirements and coordinate activities across the various IT support groups to fulfill application support needs. Provide training and support in divisional and field offices as required.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Required:
Ability and willingness to provide 24x7 application support on a rotational basis for XTO’s Drilling and Rig Scheduling software suites. Travel to divisional and field offices to provide training and support (20% travel) for these applications. Strong understanding of relational databases and ability to quickly learn new applications. Excellent communications and problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task from project work to support work on any given day. Ability to manage projects through their entire life cycle and coordinate all projects activities between business users and the various IT work groups.
Preferred but not required.
Knowledge of the Peloton Application suite as well as drilling and completion terminology and processes. Working knowledge of SQL Server, Crystal Reporting, Visio and specifically Micro Soft Access.
MAJORS: 4 Years Degree in related field with 5 years + experience working in a technical support role.
