Environmental Coordinator
DUTIES: Review, interpret and advise area management and operations on environmental regulatory issues. Help implement area specific environmental training to include: 36 month schedule, training materials, and documentation utilizing the EH&S Management Information System (EMIS) database. Investigate environmental incidents and communicate findings and recommendations to area management and corporate EH&S. Ensure waste plans are established and maintained. Interact with governmental agencies in matters pertaining to EH&S. Assist corporate EH&S with the development of programs and processes. Manage area Storm Water Requirements, SPCC plans, SARA Title III reporting, & Waste Management Plans. Support area air permitting/compliance initiatives.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Minimum of 5 years oil and gas EHS experience in or bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years experience in oil and gas. Must have strong commitment to EH&S policies and possess considerable self-initiative and desire to provide top-quality service for the area’s needs. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs especially Excel, Power Point and Word. Must have excellent verbal and writing skills.
