Field Mechanic

  • Duties: Perform routine preventative maintenance of gas compressors and other related processing equipment. Assist mechanics with major overhauls and repairs. Perform routine inspections of operating equipment at remote location. Complete associated written operations and maintenance reports. Respond to equipment down call outs.
  • Skills: Mechanical knowledge of reciprocating compressors and internally combustion engines. Technical knowledge of panels and safety shut down devices. Experience with troubleshooting of gas lift equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Measurement Technician

  • Duties: Install, commission, troubleshoot, and verify Electronic Flow Measurement to industry standards. Set up and troubleshoot communication equipment. Collect spot and continuous samples for analysis. Run conduit and wiring for install. Adequately size and install solar charging systems.
  • Skills: Must have a solid understanding of AGA and API Measurement Standards. Understand power consumption and how to properly size solar charging systems. Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and grounding. Experience using ROClink800, PCCU32 and Freewave Tool Suite software. Capable of working with FloBoss 107, FloBoss 103, FloBoss 407, FloBoss 800’s, XFC6413, 6413, 6213 and XFCG4 flow computers. Must have basic computer skills.

Shop Mechanic

  • Duties: Responsibilities include repair of compression packages and pumping unit engines. Duties also include setting up and operating lathes, hones, boring bars and surfacing equipment tear down and evaluation of engines, diagnose wear and rebuild to a zero hour engine. Repair of starters, magneto, alternators, and engine cylinder heads, pumping unit clutches, repair fans and belt guards. Other duties include assisting field Mechanics with other repairs and maintenance, as well as record keeping and maintaining the shop.
  • Skills: General mechanical and maintenance knowledge of natural gas engines and compressors. Understanding of theor and principles of internal combustion engines and reciprocating compressors. Minimum of 4 years as a machinist setting up and operating lathes, boring bars and surfacing equipment in all areas of the engine rebuilding process. Self-motivated and willing to learn. Good verbal and written communication. Basic computer skills to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Maintenance Operator

  • Duties: Responsible for engaging in and promoting a strong safety culture. Day to day operations of pipeline facilities including but not limited to: conduct pigging maintenance, perform ROW patrols and gas leak surveys, read cathodic protection rectifiers and test stations, maintain the internal corrosion prevention and chemical program. Oversee pipeline ROW mowing maintenance, conduct pipeline valve inspections, atmospheric corrosion inspections, communicate with landowners and oversee contractor maintenance activities in the field. Use compliance data metrics collection and documentation tracking tools for DOT and DEP compliance stewardship. Assist Engineering when needed in construction oversight of new pipelines. Area of coverage will be around Butler County, PA.
  • Skills: Must view safety as a value. Must have the skills, abilities, and knowledge to perform pipeline activities. Working knowledge of PHMSA/PUC DOT requirements for pipeline operations and maintenance, and mechanical integrity programs for pipelines. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Formal training and/or at least two years of experienced in the operation of pipeline facilities are required. Good computer skills are required with ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite of products. Must be able to work in extreme outdoor conditions, work flexible hours and on-call rotation as required.

Measurement Technician

  • Duties: Support ongoing operations as well as new installations. As a team member will support well pad automation systems, as well as all types of natural gas measurement facitlities. Assist in regularly witnessing and performing measurement activities in accordance with company standards. Measurement activities to include maintaining and verifying automated tank gauging systems, LEL monitors, natural gas and liquid metering systems. Will troubleshoot, operate and maintain various types of equipment, including remote operation controllers (mainly Fisher ROC), various communications networks (mainly Freewave), thermal electrical generators, enclosed flare systems, thermal vapor oxidizers, well head plunger lift control systems, wireless networks and various types of wired and wireless transmitters.
  • Skills: 3 plus years of recent field related measurement and automation experience is preferred. Fully support and comply with the XTO safety culture as a high priority.Advanced troubleshooting capabilties and strong operational knowledge of Fisher ROC equipment, Rosemount wireless networks, Rosemount transmitters, thermal electric generators, burner management systems and Freewave radio networks. Basic understanding of all components related to natural gas/liquid measurement equipment (Orifice, Coriolis, Ultra Sonic and Turbine meters) and how they are specified, certified, installed, operated and maintained. Basic understanding of AGA & API standards pertaining to volumetric and mass measurement of natural gas and natural gas liquids. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite of products. Must be physically able to use stairs on a regular basis without complication. Must be physically able to lift up to 55 pounds.

Maintenance Operator

  • Duties: Will learn plant control operation functions from a HMI and make routine rounds, observations and process readings in the plant. Learn the necessary routine operational changes to keep the plant in a safe operating condition. Perform LOTO and Safe equipment as need with the use of P&IDs, equipment manuals and procedures. Understand the safety and environmental policies pertinent to the position in a PSM regulated facility. Learn basic lab techniques required in the position. Will also learn to operate high risk natural gas compressor stations and associated dehydration equipment. Will transfer processed water for disposal and transfer condensate for sale using the 6MAP process procedures.
  • Skills: Basic working knowledge or formal training in gas plant operations is desired, with work experience in natural gas plants (amine, TEG sulfer recovery and turbo-expander) a plus. Some working knowledge of natural gas compressor and dehydration stations also a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn and take direction from experience facility personnel. Must be able to work 7 on/7 off, 12 hour shifts. Must be able to lift 50 pounds to a height of 42 inches. Must be able to climb equipment ladders and work at heights up to 78 feet. Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be a team player.

I&E Technician

  • Duties: Will install, troubleshoot and maintain plant and field instrumentation and equipment, including but not limited to transmitters, valves, switches, sensors, pumps, motors, VFDs, switchgear, lighting and transformers. Position is hands on and requires working in extreme outdoor conditions and as part of a rotational team for after-hours call outs.
  • Skills: Basic understanding of instrumentation, controls, control systems, safety systems and electrical equipment. Able to read and decipher electrical and controls drawings. Able to access PLC and use as a troubleshooting tool. Comprehend the principals of flow, level, temperature and pressure measurement. Able to install controls and low voltage electrical equipment, including wiring and pneumatic tubing. Able to configure, calibrate and maintain field instrumentation. Demonstrate a willingness to receive on-going training and mentoring. Display very good troubleshooting skills to include the ability to solve technical issues in a timely manner and using good judgment when additional assistance is required. Willingness to work as a team member with peers and with staff in other departments within the organization. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Minimum 2-year technical associates degree or 3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.

Field Operator

  • Duties: Monitor plant operations and make appropriate adjustments. Record operating data and observe the conditions of the plant equipment and report mechanical problems to supervisor. Train others to properly utilize tools and instruments. Work with team to ensure the processing plant is operating in a manner that meets company objectives for safety, efficiency and cost.
